About
I’m Sabrina Karani, a UX/Product Designer. My passion lies in product 0→1 design and strategy to produce accessible, functional, and user-centric experiences. For over 15 years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to work in multiple positions within the digital industry. Aside from directing and managing UI and UX product designers, I have held roles in front-end development, digital production, UX/UI design, development team management, digital strategy, and SEO strategy. These positions have allowed me to hone my communication and direction skills with specialists in each discipline and have given me an advantage when interacting with contractors. Over time, I have developed the skill set needed to translate technical developer and SEO language so that internal stakeholders and clients alike understand it. Having attained a BFA and an MA in Communication Design, as well as multiple certifications, including UX and product design, I’ve sharpened my skills to see the big picture and overall strategy of each digital project. These skills have also placed me in a unique position to predict and avoid potential development or strategy conflicts within a project’s scope.
Outside of work, I love taking long hikes with family, experimenting in the kitchen, and working on DIY home projects.
